Well I ended up at the Ogden box office the Saturday before the show and the guy before me bought 38 tickets! That sold them out, so as you can imagine I was upset that they let a scalper buy all the tickets! ( He tried to buy them himself but there was a 10 ticket max so lucky for him he had his 3 friends with him and the lady at the box office said his friends could buy 10 each!) As soon as we got back to the hotel we both emailed and called the box office and left a complaint message about the ticket scalper! Then I got online and bought tickets for the Boulder show! So the next day we decided to drive about 2 hours south of Denver to see ‘The Royal Gorge’ Bridge” since we couldnt go to the Denver show! Well while we were there someone from the ticket office had called and left a message apologizing for what had happened and told us that Tyler Ramsey had some tickets held back for us! There was only one problem…by the time we got the message and called them back it was to late for us to get to the show! :(:( so we were a little sad as you can imagine but we had tickets for the Boulder show and boy can I say it was a great show!

We got to the show about 3 hours early so we could eat and get a good spot and boy did we ever get the best spot in the house! We were dead center and the stage at The Fox theater is so close to the band that I could have reached out and touched Ben’s guitar! I even decided that I was not going to take video so I could really enjoy the show and boy was that a great decision because our boys tore the roof off the fox theater and we were there for it!

Tyler opened with a few old and some new songs from his up and coming album ‘the valley wind’ and they were really emotional songs even so much that they had tears coming out of my wifes eyes! I am a man so no tears here! haha Tyler was welcomed very warmly by all the fans and I think if he would have decided to play all night no one would have complained just as long as boh played eventually! Someone in the crowd yelled out Kings of Leon sucks and Tyler cracked a big smile and I think that pened him up a little more to the crowd because he actually talked a little bit! He mentioned that they had his cd for sell even though it wasn’t supposed to come out till sept 27 and that he didn’t know why! I didn’t think much of why it was for sale but more of ALRIGHT I can get it now and I did! Tyler finished a great set!

Then BOH came out and for the first few minutes I thought my heart was going to explode because that place is small and those speakers are very loud when you are that close! I could feel my eye balls bouncing to the bass! The Fox Theater is probably the best place I have seen them at and they seemed to be very glad they were all together on stage again! Ben and Tyler were teasing each other all through the night and Ben keep thanking Tyler! Even when Tyler stomped out the cigarette that Ben threw on the floor and din’t get completely put out! That made for some laughter from us fans and had me hoping there wasn’t a fire martial in the house! I doubted that very much as Boulder,Colorado and the Fox are in a college area and it was mostly college kids and believe it or not the other 1/3 of the people were mostly above the age of 35! I just turned 38 on sep 3 so I was happy to see a bunch of cool and hip people around my age! haha I would like to express how great the show was but I am not a great writer as you can see so please just take my word for it when I say it was one of my favorite shows! When the show was over we ended up with a setlist and 4 of Bens picks! actually I had more but we gave them to a few people who were in the back because we could tell they were also huge fans! We bought there really cool poster with buildings and my wife got their owl shirt! Then I bought another poster across the street from the Fox at a concert poster and memorabilia store!

All in all the night was one to remember and Colorado was the trip of a lifetime! I hope if any of you ever get the chance that you will realize there is no better place in the US to see than Colorado! Well my wife says “glacier state park” is also great but let me say that I have never seen such a beautiful place in my life!
