Every weekday, NPR allows listeners on the internet to check out a new song by a deserving artist.  Appropriately, they call this daily feature “Song of the Day,” and today Band of Horses’ song “Older” has been selected as such!

You can click here to read the story and listen to the song, but I thought it a nice compliment when NPR wrote that “Older” is “[a]n authentic honky-tonk ballad that conjures memories of The Byrds and The Flying Burrito Brothers, [and] helps stake Band of Horses’ claim to the modern-day mantel of ‘Cosmic American Music.’”  I couldn’t agree more
