Hi everyone, and sorry in advance if this goes a little long.

The past 72 hours have been incredibly stressful for me.  odetoboh.com is suffering from a major DDos attack that doesn’t seem to have a foreseeable end.  Without going into the gory details, suffice to say I made a mistake with the people I chose to host that website.  This blog really is my baby, and believe me when I tell you that this whole situation has me very upset.  Those of you that know me through the blog know that I am not that easily angered, but this situation has definitely done that to me.

As to the future of Ode to BOH, I am not sure how much (if any) of the posts and threads from the original site I am going to be able to recover.  At the time of this writing, I am not able to access any of it.  However, I am dedicated to this blog, and really enjoy doing it, so I will continue to bring you all of the Band of Horses news I can possibly get my hands on.

There are going to be a few changes to the site.  One is that there will no longer be a forum.  However, I still welcome and encourage folks who are into Band of Horses and have experiences they would like to share to contact me.  My policy is still that anyone who wants to can write for this blog.  Also, there will be plenty of room for comments.

Beyond that, most of the changes are going to be cosmetic ones.  I will still harass you on Twitter and on Facebook every time I make a post, and will continue to love you just the same as I do now

The new site will be undergoing many tweaks and changes over the next few days/weeks, but I am with a much more reliable host now, and shouldn’t have any of the problems that have occurred over the last 72 hours.

I really appreciate your patience with me, and will keep you updated as to everything that’s going on.
