Be warned: I am getting my other fire pun out of the way early in this post.

While I’ve not yet found any reviews of the Memphis show from yesterday, it is obvious from Band of Horses’ Twitpics that they literally smoked their set yesterday (told you I was getting it out of the way early).   The venue looked gorgeous and it really looked like the band was ready to take Memphis by storm. From what I gather, someone came up with the idea of fashioning an enormous guitar, attaching an IPad to it, then setting it ablaze, Hendrix-style.  Now, that’s my idea of a good time

There’s only a very short time to go until the release of ‘Infinite Arms,’ and it’s starting to feel like the closer the release date gets, the more relaxed the band is getting. Now, while I’ve never footed the bill for my own record, I would imagine nonetheless that the opposite would be true.

At any rate, I wish I could do a better job bringing you coverage of the Memphis show, but I’ve yet to see a single review.  Perhaps you or someone you know went and would like to share with all of us here what you thought of the show.  That would rock!
